Module Summary: This module focuses on the importance of clean freshwater around the world. In unit 1, students read carefully selected pages of the anchor text, One Well: The Story of Water on Earth to build background knowledge about where freshwater comes from and about the three issues that the book describes: access to water, demands on water, and water pollution. The students will focus on reading informational text to determine main ideas and supporting details as well as answering Text Dependent Questions.
